A good friend of ours just dropped a book that is drunk tested and KFL™ approved. Here’s a few pages:
A collection of works by Cedrick Ripple with forward from Glenn Rockowitz from everything how Hilter ruined the mustache to blaming orphans on sexual inadequacies. But seriously, stop buying Banksy coffee table books from Urban Outfitters. Not one person picks up my copy of Cedrick without a “WTF?!” followed by big shit eating grin. It’s not every day that one of the world’s most influential design agencies closes it’s doors. The Designers Republic were, and still are, one of the biggest inspirations to graphic designers, myself included, to come down the pike in decades. It’s tough to say “they’re dead,” because the aesthetic lives on via guys like Michael C. Place and Sanderson Bob who have become hugely influential in their own right, but hopefully tDR comes back, leaner and meaner than before.
